Welcome on my sui... errm site
Hi, I'm Brandon Jones
Quite often I see men wearing the wrong suits, considering the situation. That's one of the reasons I made this (small but hopefully useful) website. I would like to provide fellow men some handy tips when to wear which kind of suit. See you at the parties, boys :) !!!
When to wear a Three-Button Suit
The three button suit became popular again in the 1990's and has been gaining in popularity since that time. Because of the perceived recent beginning of this suit style it is regarded is a young man's suit for men in their 20's and 30's. The true beginning of the three-button suit, however, was in the 1960's. It seemed like it was the only suit people would wear back then. People yearned for individuality and the two-button suit became the new norm from that time forward. Because of the three-button suits popularity in the 1960's, they can have a mod feel to them and are slightly more vulnerable to going out of style than their two-button cousins. However, three button suits in the classic-cut are a relatively trend proof fashion of today that will serve you well for years.
One of the most important things to remember when wearing a three-button suit is to wear it with personality. That means adding your own little touches to it. Cuff links are unique ties are both good examples of ways to add personality and keep this suit from looking to stiff.
Three-button suits are a great choice to wear to the office. They has a professional stylish appearance that makes you stand out from others who wear the two-button suit. It is also great choice for any occasion where a tuxedo seems like too much, but more fashion is required than a two-button suit.
Not every suit is suitable for all body types. The three-button is versatile, but it looks best on slim men who are taller than six feet. This is because the buttons on a three-button go higher than on other suits causing it to be more comfortable and better looking on tall men. Three-button suits are a bad choice for short or heavy men. Then tend to make short men look shorter and exaggerate the curves of heavier men.
When picking the right three-button suit a snug fit should be chosen. Many people choice a suit that is too loose, this creates a sloppy look. The other mistake that can be made is picking a suit that is too tight. When a suit is too tight, it stretches the fabric and ruins the suit.
Wearing a three-button suit does come with its own style rules. The middle button should always be buttoned. The top button should be buttoned if the wearer so choices, but can make the lapels on some suits look short. The bottom button should never be buttoned. Buttoning the bottom button makes the suit looks stiff and the fabric hang wrong. Most agree that the best practice is to button just the middle button.
The three-button suit may not be for everyone. However, for those who can pull it off and want to look stylish and stand out from the crowd at the same time it could be the perfect choice. Highly fashionable while still being resent to trends, the three-button is a young man's suit of today that looks back to times past.
